Mark your calendars for May 21, 2011 as Evangel Mission's prepares a good race for you! On Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. runners will have the opportunity to take part in a race that will be held at the Florida Caverns State Park. This course is absolutely beautiful! The race course starts and ends at Blue Hole within the state park. Race participants are invited to come out to the Caverns with their family as early as 2:00 p.m. that day to take part in some of the other race day festivities such as music and a hot dog cookout.

All race participants will need to let the guard know at the front gate that they are at the park for the race event and the rangers will let you in without a park fee. Pre-registration ends on May 14th. Be sure to print your RACE DAY FORM NOW and mail it in to the address listed on the form. T-shirts will be provided for all pre-registered runners and as long as supplies last for race day runners. Trophies will be given to the overall male and overall female and medallions to the 1st,2nd, and 3rd place winners in each age group.

There will also be a FREE 1 mile fun run for the kids that will start about 5:45.

If you are wishing to sign up race day, please note that pre-registration will end about 20 minutes before the start of the race.  Come early!
